Healthy Home Cleaning Services (HHCS) is a growing green cleaning company that extends past the eastern ends of North Carolina. I was hired to create a site that would grow with the company while helping perpetuate that growth. SEO was a primary focus for this project from development to execution.
I spent the first month of the project conducting research on keywords associated with healthy cleaning. I then explored multiple visual styles using Figma. Each design went through an approval process before I continued onto the next stage.
HHCS is fully compatible with all main line browsers and mobile devices. Below images showcase how HHCS runs on mobile devices.
I used a watercolor inspired photo treatment on specific photos to create the visual design of the website. Images have a restricted color pallete with the exception of the photos/images that I chose to prioritize.
I also illustrated some pieces to support the photography. These were primarily used as part of the infographic on the "why-hire-us" page.
The site uses appropriate wordpress and woocommerce hooks that allows communication to the theme through the backend of wordpress. I conduct regular maintenance to ensure the site maintains continuity.
Dynamic Request Form
Several custom fields were created for the appointment request form so that returning customers can save details from submitted forms.
Facused Search Queries
the site uses a modified search engine that behaves differently based on its value. One search engine works as a quick redirect based on page metadata while the other allows users to navigate the blog.
HHCS is a website that has a lot packed in through the tools and techniques. I was able to minimize the plugins to a select handful, with most of the work coming from my own code on the backend. this minimizes potential site conflicts in the future and centralizes maintenance. HHCS allowed me the opportunity to build more tools for SEO development and will continue to push my SEO expertise.
